We are a voluntary controlled school which means that the building is owned by the Church of England and we have close links with the parish church but the school is maintained and financed by Bedfordshire Local Education Authority. We follow the National Curriculum within a caring, friendly environment. All children are welcome at our school whatever their ethnic origin or religious background.

The school is located in the centre of the village, alongside the village green and close to the church and village hall.

The Victorian building dates from 1871and has undergone much refurbishment to provide a pleasant and modern two-storey building. The reception and key stage one classrooms are on the ground floor along with administrative areas and computer suite while the key stage two classroom and library are on the first floor.
